At Alfred State, you will find caring faculty, small class sizes, and a close-knit community, both in and outside the classroom. Our bachelor level programs have all been specifically tailored for transfers.

We'll help make your transition as smooth as possible. And there are a lot of ways for you to fit in, both academically and socially. Not to mention all the sport teams and intramural athletics.

Evaluation and Awarding of Transfer Credit

Under the coordination of the Transfer Adviser, courses that can be applied toward graduation requirements at Alfred State College will be reviewed for transfer approval by the department chair in which the course resides. Only those equivalent courses passed with a "C" or above can be given transfer credit.

Preliminary credit evaluations are sent to the student after admissions decisions are made. For additional information on transfer credit, please contact Transfer Services.
