Thanks to another amazing show of support from alumni, faculty, staff, and friends, Alfred State College (ASC) was able to raise $231,525 this year during its sixth annual Day of Giving. Funds donated from this yearly event benefit scholarships, new programs, updated technology, athletics, and so much more.

Alfred State College (ASC) students have enjoyed a new place to get exercise and gather with friends this semester. New multipurpose athletic courts have opened right outside the Orvis Activities Center.

The leading national publication for surveying professionals, Point of Beginning magazine, is focusing attention on the value of an education through the Alfred State College (ASC) Surveying and Geomatics program. The article highlights Alfred State’s hands-on approach to prepare students and connections to the industry. 

The Educational Foundation of Alfred, Inc., a private foundation representing faculty, staff, and friends of Alfred State College (ASC), recently welcomed Ruthanne Ashworth, Ryan Miller, Bradley Smith, and Jennie Thwing as new board members.

The Cappadonia Auditorium stage will feature your favorite students from Rydell High as the Alfred State College (ASC) drama club presents “Grease: The Musical.” Four shows will be performed between Nov. 18-20.

Janel Farrell, an Alfred State human services management major, is one of the inaugural class of EOP Student Ambassadors. Farrell is one of 21 students from 20 different SUNY campuses to be part of the program.

Award-winning architect and author Duo Dickinson is coming to Alfred State College (ASC) on Wednesday, November 17 to speak on Motivation and Outcome, “Why? Architecture is Human.”

At the 27th annual President’s Society Dinner, Alfred State College (ASC) celebrated the amazing generosity of alumni and friends who exceeded the Major Gifts Campaign goal. The campaign has raised $9.2 million to benefit future generations of Pioneers.
