The Corning Rotary Club recently recognized Charles Craig as the latest community member to be named a Paul Harris Fellow, the organization’s highest honor. Craig is SVP of science and technology, administration and operations at Corning Inc. and a member of the Alfred State College Council.
In MacKenzie East, students are enjoying the newly renovated suites that encompass entire floors of the tower, including semi-private lounges, kitchenettes, and study areas.
“Being able to experience and work behind-the-scenes of such a prestigious event opened up many opportunities,” Cassidy McCourt said. “As a host, our jobs began before the tournament did. It was our job to make sure everything ran smoothly and everyone adjusted well to being in Buffalo.”
The 2018 Alfred State Faculty/Staff Spirit of Service Award recipient was Cassandra Bull, an AmeriCorps VISTA member focused on community based gardening and nutritional literacy.
