Holiday Buffet

Students enrolled in the Culinary Arts programs at the School of Applied Technology of Alfred State College will prepare a holiday buffet on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 5-7 p.m. in the student dining hall of the Culinary Arts Building on the Wellsville campus.

Pios down Cuyahoga

The Alfred State College men's basketball team improved to 6-1 on the season with a 83-75 victory over Cuyahoga (OH) CC on Friday evening.  Five Pioneers finished in double-figures in the victory.
Lady Pioneers finish 5th at Nationals

The Alfred State College volleyball team is in action all day at the NJCAA Division III National Championships in Rochester, MN.  The Lady Pioneers are making their first appearance in the National Tournament since 1977. 
WINS Annual Women in the Field Dinner

The Alfred State College volleyball team has arrived in Rochester, MN and is preparing for the start of the NJCAA Division III National Championships.
Pioneers fall to Monroe in the Pool

The Alfred State College men's swimming team hung tough with Monroe CC but fell 111-80 in their lone home meet of the 2007-08 season.  On the women's side, the two Lady Pioneers swimmers netted 37 points but fell 97-37.
Lounsberry Moderates Panel

Gary LounsberryDr. Gary Lounsberry, associate professor, Social and Behavioral Sciences Department at Alfred State College, recently moderated a research panel presenting a series of papers on the theme "Evidence-based Practice in Public Health Social Work" at the annual conference of the American Public Health Association meeting in Washington, D.C., Nov. 3-7, 2007.

ASC Among Top 10 Construction Schools

Alfred State College has been named to the top 10 undergraduate construction schools in Michael Nelson's inaugural rankings of the top undergraduate construction management and construction engineering programs in the nation.

A-State Downs Cayuga

The Alfred State College men's basketball team got contributions from everyone as they downed Cayuga CC 66-51 on Tuesday evening.  All eleven players that dressed for the Pioneers scored as the Blue and Gold improved to 5-1 on the season.
