Performing Arts winter concert set for Dec. 1

The Alfred State performing arts organizations will showcase their work at their annual winter concert on Friday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Cappadonia Auditorium.

The Alfred State performing arts organizations will showcase their work at their annual winter concert on Friday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Cappadonia Auditorium.

The rock bands, Alfred State “Voices,” and the instrumental musical will all perform in the free performance. The groups will be performing contemporary music, Broadway favorites, and holiday tunes to ring in the season.

Donations to the Mary Cariola Children’s Center will be gladly accepted after the concert. The Mary Cariola Children's Center is a regional leader in education and life skills solutions. They serve hundreds of children and young adults each year through academic, residential, and community outreach programs. The performing arts groups raise money at all their performances for the center. 

Following the concert there will be a dessert reception.
