Located in Rochester, NY, the Mary Cariola Children’s Center is a regional leader in education and life skills solutions. They serve hundreds of children and young adults each year through academic, residential, and community outreach programs.

Voices, Instrumental music, the Alfred State Rock Bands, and the Drama Club collect donations for Mary Cariola at all their performances and hold fundraising events throughout the school year.

In mid-September, members of the performing arts groups traveled to Veterans Memorial Park and participated in the 15th annual Mary Cariola Children’s Center Walking on Sunshine event. At the event, the groups donated $2,574.82.

The performing arts groups will be collecting donations for the 16th annual event during their fall semester shows. Donations will be accepted at the Drama Club’s production of The Lightning Thief (Nov. 16-18, shows at 7 p.m. and a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday) and at the annual Winter Concert, featuring the Rock Bands, Voices, and Instrumental Music on Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.
