Employers heading to Alfred State for fall career fairs

The Career Development Office at Alfred State College is busy working with students to prepare them for a pair of career fairs this fall. 170 potential employers have registered to attend.

The Alfred career fair will take place on Sept. 27 in the Orvis Gymnasium from Noon – 3 p.m. Currently there are 121 employers scheduled to attend the event.

Approximately 120 employers will be heading to the Wellsville campus and the Pioneer Student Union on Oct. 18 from Noon – 3 p.m. for the Wellsville Career Fair.

It is wonderful to connect our students with opportunities for internships, summer jobs, and full-time positions.”

The Career Development Office hosts career fairs during the fall and spring semesters. The office offers a wide variety of services for students and alumni. These services include assistance with developing career plans and goals, resume development and critique, jobs/internships, interview preparation, mock interviewing, and a variety of classroom workshops. 

Alfred State boasts a 98% employment & continuing education rate.
