After the team's first 23 shots were unsuccessful in finding the back of the net, Lucas Wales (Bath) scored on two consecutive shots to lift ASC to the victory.  Wales' first goal came with 28 minutes left in the contest after getting a pass from Steven Hickey (Rochester/Aquinas).  He scored just 24 seconds later after collecting a pass from Michael Yacuzzo (East Rochester).

Travis Bellows (Alfred Almond) put the game out of reach with 3:35 remaining when he scored his first career goal.  Tim Randall (Churchville Chili) picked up the assist.

The Pioneers held a 31 to 4 shot advantage.  Dan Krajcir (Gloversville) made three saves in recording the victory.

ASC returns to Pioneer Stadium on Thursday for a 7 p.m. contest with Corning CC.
