The Alfred State women's soccer team ran their winning streak to 14 games with a 3-0 victory over Bryant & Stratton on Thursday afternoon in Syracuse. The Lady Pioneers, ranked #4 in NJCAA DIII, are now 14-1 on the season.

The Alfred State women's soccer team ran their winning streak to 14 games with a 3-0 victory over Bryant & Stratton on Thursday afternoon in Syracuse.  The Lady Pioneers, ranked #4 in NJCAA DIII, are now 14-1 on the season.


Hannah Gilray (Fredonia) scored the lone goal of the first half for the Pioneers.  She scored after getting a pass from Keri Teufel (Sachem).


Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond) added to the lead with her 24th of the season after getting a pass from Taylor Dezio (Marion).  Hannah Holmok (Alfred Almond) added an insurance goal in the 2nd half after getting a pass from Gilray.


Krista DeCarlo (Bayshore/West Islip) made four saves for Alfred as she recorded her 6th solo shutout of the year.  The Lady Pioneers have now registered ten shutouts on the season.


Alfred returns to action on Saturday when they host Roberts Wesleyan JV during Homecoming/Family Weekend 2012.  The game is slated for a 5 p.m. start.
