Educational Foundation

The Educational Foundation of Alfred, Inc. is a private foundation comprising faculty, staff, and friends of Alfred State, dedicated to improving the college community through support of educational programs.  The Foundation provides monetary support to enhance learning opportunities for students through scholarships, work grants, and academic club and curriculum activities.

Seven to represent Alfred State at Skills USA National Championships

Seven Alfred State students will represent the college at the National SkillsUSA Championship in Atlanta, GA.  The competition takes place June 24-28.

Peer tutoring continues to receive support from the Educational Foundation of Alfred, Inc.

Since the 2010-2011 academic year, the Foundation has provided funding to the college’s peer tutoring program. As a result, the program has fulfilled more than 2,482 student requests, providing more than 14,351 hours of support.

Wreck/Rebuild program continues to benefit autobody students

Kishan Zuber, the college’s new Vice President for Enrollment Management, has also joined as an ex-officio member.
