Brandon Burger

I am a historian whose research focuses on the environmental aspects of Native American life in the 15th through 17th centuries. In my research, I utilize a broad interdisciplinary approach, employing methodologies and theories from fields such as archaeology, ecology, agricultural sciences, earth sciences, and geography. At Alfred State, I teach classes on Western Civilization and Global and Diverse Perspectives, where I try to introduce students to an interdisciplinary approach to history and the study of the world around them.
