Should a student be experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact University Police at 607-587-3999.
All medical and mental health appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling 607-587-4200. Walk-in appointments will not be available at this time due to COVID-19 safety recommendations.

After Hours
For any after-hours counseling emergencies, or for any concerns for the welfare of an individual, please contact University Police at 607-587-3999 or dial 911.
Each campus has a Health and Wellness Center to treat student illnesses, accidents, and personal or emotional needs. A registered nurse is available during posted hours on a by-appointment-only basis. Mental health counselors are available by appointment only; a person who feels they are in crisis will be seen via telehealth or phone without an appointment on a call-in basis on both campuses. Health and Wellness Center records are kept strictly confidential.
Students should go to an Emergency Room if they need to be seen by a medical provider after hours. Nearby Emergency Rooms are located in Hornell, NY at St. James Mercy, and Wellsville, NY at Jones Memorial Hospital.
If a student needs specialized services, staff can provide the names, addresses, and phone numbers of local gynecologists, orthopedic surgeons, dentists, general surgeons, internists, etc.
For appointments off-campus, we offer assistance with our student-operated Transport Team. During Health and Wellness hours, please contact our office at 607-587-4200, after hours contact University Police at 607-587-3999 for a transport, if available.
