“We are excited to show off the work of our seniors. It is great for our students to gather in one spot and watch the work that their classmates have put together throughout the semester. It is a celebration of not only the semester but of the seniors careers here at Alfred State.”

The Digital Media and Animation department at Alfred State will host their annual Senior Showcase on Saturday, May 4 at 2:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and will be held in Harris Hall (Engineering Technology Building Room 215).

“We are excited to show off the work of our seniors,” commented DMA Associate Professor Jennie Thwing. “It is great for our students to gather in one spot and watch the work that their classmates have put together throughout the semester. It is a celebration of not only the semester but of the seniors careers here at Alfred State.”

The event showcases the senior thesis projects from baccalaureate program students. The projects were produced over one semester and include animations, films, and animation preproduction works. A select number of works done by sophomores and juniors will be shown. Students in the Motion Graphics class created bumpers for the event.

The graduating Graphic Design seniors will be exhibiting their work in Bret Llewellyn Gallery from 1- 5 p.m. The exhibition titled “Right Clique” opens on April 30 and will be available to view until May 12.
