Alfred State Vice President for Finance and Administration Ryan LaBrozzi recently graduated from the Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA) University.

LaBrozzi and a handful of his Alfred State colleagues traveled to Phoenix, AZ in February for the professional development opportunity that brings multiple training courses together at a single location.

To graduate students must complete all four cores of the Institute of Facilities Management. The four courses included General Administration, Operations & Maintenance, Energy & Utilities, and Planning, Design, & Construction.

“We are proud of the dedication Ryan has displayed with this continued education,” commented Alfred State President Steven Mauro. “We are consistently working on our facilities and how we can make improvements to enhance students’ experiences in and out of the classroom.”

APPA is the professional home for educational facilities leaders. They bring together individuals and institutions who design, maintain, and manage the environments where learning happens. They strive to support educational excellence by equipping facilities professionals with leadership, knowledge, and community.
