Accepted Alfred State Heavy Equipment: Truck & Diesel Technician students can apply through the IUOE to be part of the scholarship program.
Requirements:
• Must join IUOE Union and work for 5 credit years as an IUOE member-
• Must attend 3 weeks of all expenses paid Pipeline Training at the ITEC
Center in Crosby Texas each year.
• Must participate in a Federal DOT Drug Testing program.
• Must maintain a 2.0 or better GPA.
Application Deadline is April 15!
Part of the application process is a 1-page personal statement of interest as a mechanic in the pipeline industry, as well as 3 letters of reference. Start thinking about who you'll ask!
