According to an article by Buffalo Business First, Alfred State College alumnus Kyle Brent and his brother, Tyler, are embarking on a $12.6 million expansion of their business, Brent Industries.
The article states that Kyle, a 2007 surveying engineering technology graduate, and Tyler “are working with the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency to secure $1.4 million in tax breaks to finance a warehouse for Brent Industries. The company wants to build a 107,500-square-foot warehouse and distribution center for the company’s two businesses – KJ Motorsports and Outdoor Furnace Supply.”
Kyle is quoted in the article as saying, “To think, I started this from my dorm room at Alfred.”
