Alfred State College is hosting an upcoming blood drive as the American Red Cross urges healthy individuals to give blood to ensure hospitals can meet patient needs.

According to an article on the Olean Times Herald website, “During National Volunteer Month this April, the American Red Cross is celebrating the blood, platelet, and plasma donors who help fulfill its lifesaving mission and urging healthy individuals to join them in giving.”

Alfred State’s Red Cross blood drive is taking place from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 22 on the third floor of the Student Leadership Center on the Alfred campus.
