This year, Alfred State College (ASC) alumnus Bill Hayes is celebrating his 30th year in business and the 55th anniversary of the founding of his company, Turnbull Heating and Air Conditioning.

This year, Alfred State College (ASC) alumnus Bill Hayes is celebrating his 30th year in business and the 55th anniversary of the founding of his company, Turnbull Heating and Air Conditioning.

Hayes is a 1982 graduate of Alfred State’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) program, and his wife, Jo Ann, is also an ASC alum, having graduated from the school’s executive secretarial science program.

According to an article by The Batavian, Turnbull Heating and Air Conditioning was founded in 1966 by Batavia native Roy Turnbull. In 1991, Hayes became the owner of the company, which is a full-service heating, air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration dealer.
