Bliven is the chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at Jones and will retire on Jan. 30. According to an article about her retirement, Bliven began her career as a part-time nurse in 1976 and has served in her current role at Jones Memorial since 2006. The article also states that Bliven had worked for months past her original retirement date when COVID threatened the community.
