The brothers of Lambda Tau Phi at Alfred State College were all treats and no tricks this past Halloween as they volunteered to assist the Almond Community Church.

On the morning of Saturday, Oct. 31, the brothers were able to accomplish many tasks for the church, assisting with raking leaves/leaf blowing, power washing, and carrying items that were no longer needed out to the garage. The church provided the brothers with snacks and drinks for the volunteer work that they performed.

Markel Edwards, a sport management student from Buffalo and president of Lambda Tau Phi, said, “It was a long event, but the people of the Almond Community Church made things very easy by being nice and helpful if we didn’t understand something. They really appreciated us coming in so early to contribute with the projects they needed help with, too. The brothers of Lambda Tau Phi would like to thank the Almond Community Church for letting us volunteer and help their church.”
