The conference provides an ongoing forum in which higher-education professionals may share experiences, concerns, and accomplishments related to supporting student learning, development, and success in the first college year, according to bestevents.us.
Titled “Digging Deeper into Student Engagement and Learning with Case Studies,” Thorp’s presentation demonstrated how case studies and scenarios contribute to deeper-level thinking skills. Thorp also discussed attitudes, behaviors, and habits linked to academic success in the first year.
