Trio of A-State Alums help Wesleyan to Nationals

A trio of Alfred State College women's basketball alumni helped the Roberts Wesleyan basketball team to a 22-12 record and a 4th place finish at the National Christian College Athletic Association.  Erin Farney (South Seneca), Jaslynn Lee (Rush Henrietta), and Erin Vess (Irondequoit) all were key contributors to the Lady Raiders.

A trio of Alfred State College women's basketball alumni helped the Roberts Wesleyan basketball team to a 22-12 record and a 4th place finish at the National Christian College Athletic Association.  Erin Farney (South Seneca), Jaslynn Lee (Rush Henrietta), and Erin Vess (Irondequoit) all were key contributors to the Lady Raiders.

Farney, a junior forward who still holds the ASC single season scoring record with 604 points in 2004-05, was selected 1st team NCCAA East after lead Roberts with a 14.8 points per game average.  She also averaged 7.5 rebounds, passed out 63 assists, and was credited with 40 steals.

Lee, a junior guard, appeared in 32 games and averaged 6.5 points and 2.9 rebounds.  She passed out a team high 150 assists and was credited with 60 steals.

Vess, a senior forward/center, appeared in all 34 games and averaged 8.7 points per game and 5 rebounds.  She passed out 62 assists and had 54 steals.

The Lady Raiders advanced to the NCCAA semifinals but fell 75-70 to Hope International.
