Monroe CC led throughout as they defeated Alfred State 64-48 in a WNYAC contest Saturday afternoon at the Orvis Activities Center.  MCC improves to 10-7 on the year while ASC falls to 3-12.

Monroe CC led throughout as they defeated Alfred State 64-48 in a WNYAC contest Saturday afternoon at the Orvis Activities Center.  MCC improves to 10-7 on the year while ASC falls to 3-12.

Greg Williams led the Tribunes with 21 points while Andre Armstrong came off the bench connected on 13 points.  Christopher Thompson chipped in 10 for the Tribunes who led 35-19 at half.  MCC shot 38.9% from the field and connected on six of 19 three-point attempts.

Younatan Gobezai (Bethesda, MD) led the Pioneers with 13 points while Patrick Parker (Jamaica/Hillcrest) finished with 12.  Vince Antonioli (Wellsville) chipped in eight.  ASC was held to 29.2% shooting from the floor and hit only one three-pointer in 19 attempts.

The Pioneers hit the road on Tuesday for a battle vs. #3 ranked Erie CC.  Tip-off at the Flickenger Center is slated for 7:30 p.m.
