Three Men Soccer Players Named All-WNYAC

Three Alfred State College men's soccer players have earned All-WNYAC honors.  Lucas Wales (Bath) was named 1st team while Michael Gee (Arkport) and Derek Southworth (Fulton/G.Ray Bodley) were 2nd team selections.

Three Alfred State College men's soccer players have earned All-WNYAC honors.  Lucas Wales (Bath) was named 1st team while Michael Gee (Arkport) and Derek Southworth (Fulton/G.Ray Bodley) were 2nd team selections.

Wales led the blue & gold with seven goals and two assists.  He was part of nine of the Pioneers 17 goals on the season.  Wales finishes his career with 34 points (15 goals and three assists).  This is the second time he has been named 1st team All-WNYAC.

Gee and Southworth were key components to the Pioneers defense that recorded three shutouts on the season and allowed two or less goals in eight games.  Southworth was credited with one assist on the season.

The Pioneers finished the 2010 campaign with a 4-9-2 overall record.
