For the second consecutive year, Alfred State College senior carpentry students enrolled in the College’s Building Trades programs embarked on a “Semester in the South” where they will use the skills they acquired during their first year of study
For the second consecutive year, Alfred State College senior carpentry students enrolled in the College’s Assistant Professor Norm Ellis, and in conjunction with the Episcopal Diocese in the 7th Ward, New Orleans, and Habitat for Humanity in Bay St. Louis, 13 students will spend 15 weeks sawing, hammering, and building houses for those who continue to be displaced by the storm.
