Sparks' best performance was in the 100 m dash where he earned 703 points with a time of 11.50. He also earned 559 points in the 110 hurdles (17.40), 517 points in the pole vault (3.63 m), and 490 points in the long jump (5.54 m). Sparks finished the ten events with 4,525 points.
Hickey scored 4,149 points in the competition. He earned 531 points in the 100 m (12.40), 517 points in the pole vault (3.63 m), and 496 points in the 1,500 (5:11.42).
SUNY Delhi leads the Region III Championship competition with 11 points followed by Erie CC and Mohawk Valley CC's 10 points. ASC is in 4th with six points followed by Herkimer CCC's 2 points.
The rest of the Region III Championships take place Friday and Saturday at SUNY Delhi.
