SkillsUSA Helps SoldiersStudents enrolled in the School of Applied Technology of Alfred State College, and members of the SkillsUSA Club, joined forces to collect items for soldiers in Iraq.  Building Trades faculty member and former Marine Dave Chilson, standing fourth from left, gathered the gifts and took them to the Blue Star Mothers, parents of soldiers who meet and send needed items to their sons and daughters who serve.  Money was also donated to cover the shipping charges.  Pictured with Chilson are Wellsville students and SkillsUSA officers.  SkillsUSA is a national organization with over 250,000 members from all 50 states and three U.S. territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands).  The mission of SkillsUSA is to help its members become world-class workers and responsible citizens.
