Six members of the Alfred State College men's soccer team have been named to the All-Western New York Athletic Conference team.  Cole Finnemore (Genesee Valley), Andrew Beardsley (Letchworth), and Matt Paryz (Lancaster) were 1st team selections while Colin Coon (Trumansburg), Dom Bisone (Tonawanda), and Chris Coogan (Rome Free) were named to the 2nd team.

Six members of the Alfred State College men's soccer team have been named to the All-Western New York Athletic Conference team.  Cole Finnemore (Genesee Valley), Andrew Beardsley (Letchworth), and Matt Paryz (Lancaster) were 1st team selections while Colin Coon (Trumansburg), Dom Bisone (Tonawanda), and Chris Coogan (Rome Free) were named to the 2nd team.

Finnemore led the Pioneers with 23 points.  He scored eight goals and passed out seven assists.  Beardsley and Paryz played solid defense.  The defense in front of Coogan held opponents to just an 1.00 goals per game.  Beardsley did get credit for one assist.

Coon finished the season with four goals and three assists (11 points) from his midfield position, Bisone netted two goals and passed out two assists on the season, and Coogan was 10-4-2 on the year in net.  Coogan had a 1.10 goals against average in 1,349 minutes in net.  He made 141 saves and recorded nine shutouts.

The Pioneers finished the campaign with a 10-4-2 record and advanced all the way to the Region III Division III Final Four.
