Seven members of the Alfred State College women's soccer team have been named All-WNYAC following the Lady Pioneers 11-5 season.  ASC finshed 2nd in the WNYAC standings with a 4-1 mark.

Seven members of the Alfred State College women's soccer team have been named All-WNYAC following the Lady Pioneers 11-5 season.  ASC finshed 2nd in the WNYAC standings with a 4-1 mark.

Ginette Cornett (Potsdam), Abby Komarc (Horseheads), and Danielle Hill (Addison) were 1st team selections while Holli Pierce (Livonia), Jenna Lynn (York), Tara Scholla (Genesee Valley), and Mo Parks (Avoca) were named to the 2nd team.

Cornett was a key member of the Pioneer midfield.  She collected two goals and passed out an assist.  She finishes her two-year career with four goals and four assists.

Komarc finished with seven goals and three assists from her midfield position.  She netted a hat trick in a 9-0 win over SUNY Delhi to highlight her season.

Hill was a key cog in the Pioneer defensive core.  She finsihed the year with one goal and three assists but more importantly helped the Pioneers to five shutouts and a 1.47 goals against average.

Pierce was the blue & gold's top scorer.  She netted 19 goals and passed out seven assists for 45 points.  She had two hat-tricks and scored more than one goal in seven games.

Lynn was the Lady Pioneers second leading scorer netting seven goals and passing out four assists.  She scored a season high two goals in a 2-0 victory over Jamestown CC.

Scholla was another key member of the defense.  She finished with a goal and three assists on the season.

Parks earns All-WNYAC honors for the second season in a row after making 87 saves in net.  She played 1,407 minutes out of the team's 1470 total minutes played.  Parks had four solo shutouts on the season and finished with a 1.47 goals against average.

Alfred State was ranked as high as #8 in the NJCAA poll and earned the #4 seed in the Region III Division III Tournament
