Tyler Mann (Holland Patent) led the Pioneers with a 3 for 4 day with 2 RBI while Kevan Smith (Cicero North Syracuse) and Andrew Alexander (LeRoy) were each 2 for 2. Dennis Dueno (Brooklyn/Bishop Ford) and Travis Fenstermake (LeRoy) both were 2 for 4 on the day.
Ruben Mizarahi (Weston, FL/David Pasnack) tossed 6.2 innings to earn the victory. He allowed one earned run on three hits while walking three and striking out five to even his record to 1-1.
The Pioneers return to action on Thursday for their final game of their spring trip. They take on Rock Valley (IL) College at 10 a.m.
