The Alfred State College men's basketball used a 29-0 run en route to a 87-58 victory over the JV squad from Ithaca College.  The Pioneers have won three straight and are 11-10 on the season.

The Alfred State College men's basketball used a 29-0 run en route to a 87-58 victory over the JV squad from Ithaca College.  The Pioneers have won three straight and are 11-10 on the season.

Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX) led four Pioneers in double figures finishing with 24 points (5 for 10 from three).  Dan Foley (Irondequoit) finished with 14 points, 10 assists, and eight boards while Travis Brannen (Elmira Free) added 13 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks.  Geoff Hicks (Buffalo/Cleveland Hill) had his best game with 12 points and eight rebounds. 

Matt Fitzpatrick led the Bombers with 24 points and nine rebounds while Dan Feinstein added 13.

ASC shot a blistering 52.9% (37 for 70) from the field and held a 50 to 25 advantage on the boards.

The Pioneers return to WNYAC play and start a six-game roadtrip on Thursday when they travel to Genesee CC for a 8 p.m. tip-off.
