The Alfred State men's basketball team had three players finish in double figures as they improved to 10-4 with a 68-63 victory over Finger Lakes CC.

Jimmie Dillard (Gates Chili) led all scorers with 24 points on 8 for 12 shooting.  Cerrone Jackson (Forrest Hills) finished with 17 points and seven assists while Dusty Marshall (Newfield) chipped in 11 points.  Fran Lantigua (Jamestown) added seven points, five assists, and five boards.

Brandon Williams led FLCC with 17 points while Jonnah Whipple finished with 15.  Jordan Koch and Pablo Correa each chipped in 10.

Alfred's largest lead was 21-9 with eight minutes remaining in the 1st half before FLCC rallied to send the game into intermission, 29-25.  FLCC took a 58-57 lead with 5:41 remaining in the game but never regained the lead.

The Pioneers wrap up 2007 with a 3 p.m. contest versus SUNY Orange on Saturday.
