Mercyhurst North East won the final three matches of the night to rally to tie Alfred State 22-22 in a WNYAC dual match.  ASC is now 1-0-1 on the year while MNE is 0-0-1.

The Pioneers built a 22-12 lead heading into the final three matches but the Saints won the 174 lb. match by decision, the 184 lb. match by major decision, and the final match of the evening at 197 by decision..

Zach Rouse (Canisteo Greenwood) opened up the evening with a victory at heavyweight.  Cody Dill (Unatego) earned a 15-6 victory to make it 7-0.  After ASC forfeited at 133, Eric Shedden (Canton, PA) won by decision at 141 to make it 10-6. 

The Saints took the lead for the first time with a pin at 149 but Shawn Hanrahan (Unatego) pinned his opponent to give the blue & gold 16-12 lead.  Cody Lansberry (Kendall) made it 22-12 when he earned a medical default victory.

Alfred State returns to action after the Thanksgiving break when they travel to Niagara CCC.  On December 4 they will wrestle at the Niagara Duals and will wrestle at the NCCC Open on December 5.
