The Alfred State College Alumni Association has chosen to partner with PCI Publishing Concepts to create a new Alumni Directory. This is long overdue as the last directory was published in 1994 and since that time nearly 15,000 new alumni have been added to our ranks.
The Alfred State College Alumni Association has chosen to partner with PCI Publishing Concepts to create a new Alumni Directory. This is long overdue as the last directory was published in 1994 and since that time nearly 15,000 new alumni have been added to our ranks.
Publishing Concepts is a leader in the field of alumni publishing. The Alfred State College Alumni Association has chosen PCI to produce and offer our directory as an optional hardbound, a softbound, or in a CD-ROM format as a way to allow each alumnus to make the connections that will meet their needs. Our new directory will allow alumni to reconnect with classmates, friends from the dorms, members of various clubs and organizations, fraternity brothers, sorority sisters, and teammates from our various intercollegiate and intramural athletic teams. Forget the white pages, Google, and all of the other search systems. With everyone's cooperation and assistance, this new Alumni Directory will provide the connections you seek.
In addition to helping you reconnect with your former classmates and colleagues, there will also be ways to create new contacts and to establish career networking opportunities and systems. As an added bonus, this new directory will assist Alfred State College in maintaining open communication with each of our 48,000 alumni. When completed, this up-to-date directory will present our alumni by graduation year, in alphabetical order, and will provide regional and networking listings that will be at your fingertips.
In order to accomplish this project, PCI will be contacting each alumnus through postcards, by telephone, and via e-mail. Publishing Concepts will be asking you to update your contact information, and will be offering an opportunity for each alumnus to purchase the directory. We ask that you be certain to respond to these inquiries and to reserve your copy of the 2009 Alfred State College Alumni Directory which will be delivered to you in June 2009.
