The Digital Dorm Room is actually a model of a cool technology-enabled
dorm room built into a truck. Live product demonstrations
showcasing solutions from Microsoft and Hewlett Packard were offered aboard a
26-foot truck literally traveling across America. For college students,
professors, and staff, DDR is where they can meet with experts and experience
the latest technology in a hands-on, interactive environment, enabling more
informed purchase decisions that will enhance their potential. A version of the Digital Dorm Room was parked on the
campus recently where ASC students played video games and were treated to a
variety of promotional items from Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard.
