Men Ranked 5th, Women 8th in latest Track Poll

Both the Alfred State College men's and women's track and field teams continue to sit in the top ten of the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The men are currently ranked 5th while the women are 8th.

Both the Alfred State College men's and women's track and field teams continue to sit in the top ten of the latest NJCAA Division III poll.  The men are currently ranked 5th while the women are 8th.

The recent weather has kept the Pioneers from competing since both the men and the women won the ASC Quad Meet on March 27.  ASC is scheduled to compete at Houghton College on Wednesday and at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.

Harper (IL) College is ranked #1 on the men's side followed by the College of DuPage (IL), SUNY Delhi, Erie CC, and Alfred State.  Mohawk Valley CC holds the top spot on the women's side followed by DuPage, Erie CC, Delhi, Gloucester (NJ) CC, Kingston CC, Harper, and ASC.

The 2009 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships will be held at Alfred State in one month, May 7-9.
