Trailing 61-58 with four and half minutes left in the game, the Alfred State College men's basketball team went on a 12-0 run to close out the contest to win their fifth straight contest, 70-61 over Niagara CCC.  The Pioneers improve to 13-10 overall and 5-4 in WNYAC play.

Trailing 61-58 with four and half minutes left in the game, the Alfred State College men's basketball team went on a 12-0 run to close out the contest to win their fifth straight contest, 70-61 over Niagara CCC.  The Pioneers improve to 13-10 overall and 5-4 in WNYAC play.

Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX) led the way with 22 points and four rebounds while Dan Foley (Irondequoit) added 21 points and 10 boards.  Travis Brannen (Elmira Free) had a big day with 16 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks.

The win avenges a 63-53 home loss to Niagara on January 20th.  The Pioneers have now won five games in the past ten days.

ASC continues their six-game road trip on Tuesday when they travel to Erie CC for a 8 p.m. tip-off with the Kats.
