ASC led 2-0 going into the 5th but Massasoit scored five in the 5th, four in the 6th, and one in 7th to take control of the game.  Alex Lopez (Brooklyn/Juan Morel Compas) took the loss but tossed 5.1 solid innings.  He allowed three earned runs on eight hits while walking three and striking out one.  A RBI triple by Kyle Barkley (Penn Yan), a sac fly by Jake Dale (Keshequa), and a RBI single by Kevan Smith (Cicero North Syracuse) accounted for the blue & gold's runs.

North Iowa scored five runs in the 5th to erase a 1-0 deficit and added five more in the 7th to down ASC.  JP Frey (Erie, PA/McDowell) led ASC with a 3 for 4, 1 RBI day while Steve Smith (Hornell) was 2 for 3.  Kyle Barkley took the loss allowing just one earned run in six innings.  He allowed four hits and two walks while striking out six.
