Ginette Cornett (Potsdam) got the Lady Pioneers on the board just under twenty minutes into the game after getting a pass from Tiffany Fox (Canisteo Greenwood). Holli Pierce (Livonia) made it 2-0 nine minutes later after getting a freeing pass from Fox. After a Mercyhurst North East goal, ASC regained their two goal advantage with 2:30 remaining when Jenna Lynn (York) scored after a corner kick by Makenzie Finnemore (Genesee Valley).
Pierce added to the lead just under two minutes into the 2nd half when she netted her second goal of the day after getting a pass from Charise Nankivell (Hornell).
Mo Parks (Avoca) made ten saves in net for the Lady Pioneers.
The blue & gold return to action on Tuesday when they take on Genesee CC. The match is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start at Pioneer Stadium.
