Jamia Martin led three Lady Cougars in double figures with 16 points and eight rebounds. Brittany McCray recorded a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds while Akebulynn Stephens finished with 11 points. Blanca Jones came off the bench and had nine points and 12 rebounds.
Gina Moss (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) led the Lady Pioneers with 13 points and seven boards. Christina Loder (Brantford, ONT) and Ayana Rhodes (Buffalo/East Ridge) each finished with eight points.
GCC held a 60 to 44 advantage on the boards including a 30 to 17 advantage on the offensive glass. The Lady Cougars also forced 30 Pioneer turnovers and blocked 11 shots.
ASC has over a month off before they return to action in 2009 when they host Elmira College JV on January 14. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
