Lady Pioneers Conclude Spring Trip

The Alfred State College softball team couldn't get the bats going as they fell in their spring trip doubleheader finale.  The Lady Pioneers fell 6-0 to the County College of Morris (NJ) and 4-0 to Cumberland (NJ) County College.

The Alfred State College softball team couldn't get the bats going as they fell in their spring trip doubleheader finale.  The Lady Pioneers fell 6-0 to the County College of Morris (NJ) and 4-0 to Cumberland (NJ) County College.

For the day, the Lady Pioneers were held to just six hits (three in each game).  Amanda Theleman (Whitney Point) collected two hits in game two and pitched a complete game allowing just one earned run.  She allowed six hit while walking two and striking out two.

ASC finishes their annual trip to Snowbird Softball in Myrtle Beach, SC with a 2-7 mark.  They will open up the northern portion of their schedule on March 31 with a home doubleheader versus Elmira College JV.
