Four Pioneers Named All-WNYAC Lacrosse

Four members of the 2010 Alfred State College lacrosse team have earned All-WNYAC honors.  Ryan Speciale (Corning West) and Chase Bailey (Corning West) were named to the 1st team while James Moss (Hilton) and Nick Young (West Seneca West) were 2nd team selections.

Four members of the 2010 Alfred State College lacrosse team have earned All-WNYAC honors.  Ryan Speciale (Corning West) and Chase Bailey (Corning West) were named to the 1st team while James Moss (Hilton) and Nick Young (West Seneca West) were 2nd team selections.

Speciale led the blue & gold with 63 points.  He netted 33 goals and passed out a team high 30 assists.  Earlier in the year he was a 1st team All-Region selection.

Bailey finished with 45 points on the season including a team high 41 goals. Earlier in the year he was a honorable mention All-Region selection.

Moss netted 22 goals and passed out 14 assists on the season while Young was a key member of the defense.

All four Pioneers honored by the WNYAC completed their careers at Alfred State in 2010.  The Pioneers were 5-9 on the season and 3rd in WNYAC competition with a 2-2 record.
