The Civic Engagement and Activism Headquarters at Alfred State College conducted a food drive prior to Christmas during which the members collected four large boxes of food from the students of Alfred State College. The food was donated to Turning Point Food Pantry on Dec. 23. The Civic Engagement and Activism Headquarters, also known as CEAH, is in its first year of existence at Alfred State College. Its mission is to provide opportunities for Alfred State students to actively engage with the community of Alfred. CEAH is responsible for providing community service projects and activism opportunities for the students and community members of the Village of Alfred. CEAH is operated through the Student Activities office and coordinated by a student leader. Elizabeth Elliot, the student coordinator, is a graduating senior in the Building Trades Department of the College's Wellsville campus.
