After struggling in the first game the Pioneers dominated game two and three but the Kats seized momentum in game four and never looked back.  Alfred State was plagued by 18 service errors in the contest.

The blue & gold traded their traditional uniforms and wore special pink jerseys.  Fundraisers were held throughout the night with all funds raised going to the Side-Out Foundation.  Alfred along with volleyball teams across the country have teammed up this October to raise funds for Side-Out who in turns issues grants to provide organizations whose mission is to fight breast cancer.

Alfred State returns to court on Wednesday night when they play their final regular season game vs. Elmira College JV.  Action is slated to begin at 6 p.m. at the Orvis Activities Center.
