where they renewed acquaintances with old friends and former colleagues and met
new friends as part of their re-introduction to the area. Anderson
assumed his duties March 1, 2008, as the 11th president of the
college following a five-year absence during which he broadened his leadership
experiences in higher education at two very different types of
