Anderson & ShuttAlfred State College's Business Technology Department,
in conjunction with Business Professionals of America (BPA), recently sponsored
a dinner for students who are members of the BPA chapter on campus. The
theme of the event, "Dinner with Models," was selected to allow students to see
"model" dress and behavior appropriate for the business world. To that end,
invited speakers gave presentations on the following: "Dress for Success"
by Justin Neefus, district manager for Vector Marketing Corp./Cutco; and
"Business Etiquette" by Robert Shutt, professional presenter and trainer on
professional business behavior, etiquette, and dining etiquette.
Additionally, an "extreme makeover" was conducted on club members by Deb
Strebel, BPA vice president. ASC President Dr. John M. Anderson gave the
closing remarks.
