Jamestown CC used a late 11-1 run to propel to a 76-74 victory over Alfred State in a tight WNYAC contest on Saturday.  The loss snaps a three-game winning streak and drops the Pioneers to 9-10 overall and 3-1 in WNYAC action.

The Pioneers trailed by 12 in the second half but went on a big run to grab a 65-59 lead with 2:30 minutes left before the Jayhawks answered back with a 11-1 run that featured a key four-point play (three-pointer and a foul shot) that gave them a 69-66 lead with 30 seconds remaining.

Jose Stable (Brooklyn/EBC-Bushwick) led the way with 20 points including 18 in the second half.  He also added 19 rebounds.  Neil Wilson (Ft. Worth, TX) finished with 20 points while Younatan Gobezai (Bethesda, MD) and Rasean Parris (Benjamin Banneker) both chipped in 14 each.

The blue & gold return to the Orvis Activities Center on Tuesday when they host Monroe CC at 7 p.m. The Tribunes, ranked #1 in the Division II of the NJCAA, are 14-1 on the season.
