The Alfred State men's basketball team had seven players score at least five points as they defeated Elmira College JV 65-38.  The Pioneers improve to 4-3 on the year.

Jamar White (Laurel, MD) led the blue & gold with 11 points, seven assists, and six boards while Adam Fezza (Southhampton) finished with 10 points.  Marquis Chatman (Allen, TX) had nine points and 11 rebounds, Wade Franklin (Arkport) had eight points, and Sean Nolan (Palymyra Macedon) had seven.  Cristian Santana (Harlem Village Academy) grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds.

Justin Henderson led Elmira with 11 points while Dwayne McGee finished with nine.

Alfred shot 45.5% from the field, 42.9% from three, and 69.2% from the line while Elmira shot just 24.5% from the field, 23.1% from three, and 40% from the line.  Alfred held a 51 to 30 advantage on the boards.

The Pioneers return to action on Thursday when they host Finger Lakes CC at 7:30 p.m.
