Reynolds’ nominator, Ashley Kehoe, director of civic engagement and student leadership programs, recognized that Lisa went “above and beyond this summer to make the new program ‘Meet Alfred’ a success. This program was designed for new students to move in a day early and get acquainted with the town of Alfred.”
Alfred State College and National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), a non-academic honor society consisting of the top 1% of student leaders, announces the winners of August’s “Of The Month” (OTM) Awards.
Lisa Reynolds, Almond, a nursing major, was chosen Student Of The Month.
Reynolds’ nominator, Ashley Kehoe, director of civic engagement and student leadership programs, recognized that Lisa went “above and beyond this summer to make the new program ‘Meet Alfred’ a success. This program was designed for new students to move in a day early and get acquainted with the town of Alfred.”
Not only was this OTM a Campus Winner, but the members of NRHH voted to submit it for a chance to win at the Regional Level, North East Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (NEACURH).
“Of The Month” Awards are given to members of the Alfred State community for accomplishments and successes within a given month. All students, faculty, and staff have the opportunity to submit a nomination for OTM every month. Nominations to recognize members of our community for their contributions to life at Alfred State may be made via http://otms.nrhh.org/.
Campus OTMs also have an opportunity to be selected for submission to the Regional Level. The NRHH of Alfred State is a part of the NEACURH (North East Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls) Region.
