ASC receives second installment of an annual $10,000 scholarship donation from Praxair, Inc., of Tonawanda.The Computerized Design and Manufacturing Department
at Alfred State College's School of Applied Technology, Wellsville, was the
recipient recently of a $10,000 donation from Praxair, Inc., Tonawanda, to be
used for student scholarships beginning in fall 2008.  This is the second
installment of an annual $10,000 scholarship donation to be used for student
recruitment and retention in the drafting/CAD-model building & process
piping drawing AOS (associate in occupational studies) degree program. To be
eligible, students must be enrolled in the program, possess a 3.0 grade point
average (GPA), be eligible for financial assistance, and apply for the
scholarship through the Praxair Foundation. Pictured here, l-r:  Jerry
